About
CU Executive Summary is a daily roundup of the most pertinent headlines to your credit union, all in executive summary format. Available between 8:00-9:00am Eastern Time, the articles, unless otherwise stated, are from various news sources across the internet.
Executive Summary is an offshoot of CU Potential, a blog analyzing trends and statistics on today’s Credit Unions. Executive Summary posts (Called CU News Briefs) from March 26, 2008 through April 18, 2008 can be found there.
Each post is split into three categories: Executive Summary, Robbed, and ‘Arrested, Arraigned, Charged, or Sentenced’.
Executive Summary brings you the most pertinent headlines in the credit union world. This is a No Fluff Zone, and because we have no quota, the number of news stories will vary from day to day. If only one story appears, it was simply a slow news day for credit unions.
Robbed tracks the various credit union robberies as they occur. Generally, ‘inside jobs’ will end up in the Executive Summary, so this is front line robbery. We’ll try to bring you the details, though they’re often hazy at best.
Arrested, Arraigned, Charged, or Sentenced tracks the police investigations after the robbery, armed or inside job, has occurred. We’ll follow the case to its completion and try to reference back when we can.
New to CU Executive Summary is a weekly Executive Summary International; articles that chronicle credit unions outside the United States. The post will run on Wednesdays.
Posts are generally online between 8-9:00 am Eastern Time.
Thank you for taking a moment to read this page, and don’t forget to check out CU Potential. You’ll be glad you did.
